When you step into Bucky’s, one, know you are about to treat your taste buds to some of the best barbecue, and, two, you will not be leaving hungry.  All the meat is wood-smoked, giving it an awesome mesquite flavor. My chicken was very well-seasoned, and the meat was so tender it fell off the bone.

The pig at Bucky’s Bar-B-Q is a thing of plain & simple goodness.

Somewhere deep within the crypts of every man’s inner being is the knowledge that now is the time to eat smoked pig.  Summer has always been the season for barbecue, the time for cooking pork over smoldering charcoals, for picking apart slender strings of swine and stuffing it into the mouth and swallowing over and over again.

Wayne Preston didn’t mean to go into the barbecue business; it was a matter of survival.

Preston’s woodworking-machine business had crumbled and the businessman could no longer pay his debts. In desperation, he set up a smoker on the side of the road and sold barbecue plates for $5 each.

Faithful Wayne Preston Bucks Business Trends

When he had only 24 hours to raise the $500 he needed to continue getting electricity at his home, Wayne Preston’s economic plight had reached a crisis stage.  Preston, struggling in the wake of the financial collapse of his woodworking machinery business, was broke.
“I was so broke, I remember telling my son he had to eat his cereal dry, because there was no milk,” says Preston.
